The Pennsylvania license plates that I am about to talk about are not grouped under one category. They are the license plates that don't fit under any other category so they are grouped here. The plates that are included here are the plates for salvage yard, repair towing, dealer, truck, trailer, MC, emergency vehicle, school vehicle, handicapped driver, antique historic vehicle, and antique vehicle.
A repait towing license plate is a plate that would be on a tow truck. They are required to have this special license plate because by law a tow truck is a vehicle that has permanently attached hoists or towing apparatuses, or a self-loading flatbed.
A dealer license plate is the type of license plate that would be on a car when at the dealership or when someone is taking it on a test drive.
This is the type of license plate that would be found on a truck to specify the type of vehicle that the plate is on.
This type of license plate can be found on a trailer.
This is the type of license plate that would found on a motorcycle to specify the type of vehicle that the plate is on.
This is the type of license plate that would be found on a emergency vehicles to specify what category of vehicle that the plate is on.
This is the type of license plate that can be found on a school vehicle. For example, a school bus.
This is a type of license that from looks of it looks like a regular Pennsylvania plate except for the fact that it depicts the handicapped symbol on it.
Any antique vehicle that is not a motorcycle was issued this plate. First issued sometime in the 1950's they were colored white on purple until 2005. In early 2005 newly designed antique plates were issued using the standard Pennsylvania plate look. Blue stripe on top, yellow stripe on the bottom, and some picture or wording on the left side. Throughout the years since the plate was issued different formats for the registration were used. Those being x00x, 0xx0, 0x00, 00x0, and x0xx.
Issued from 1906 until 1976, this type registration plate has to be displayed in lieu of any antique or classic car. It will be displayed on a vehicle with the same corresponding year of manufacture.
